Open Access Materials on the Study of Aging

The Gerontology Interdisciplinary Program offers many "open access" materials on the topic of aging. All of the materials are free and open to the public and represent our educational outreach mission to provide a variety of materials that can inform people about the aging experience. We are pleased to make open and accessible to the public - two categories of materials on the aging experience.

The first category - The Process of Aging - offers several learning modules via a self-paced video presentation. The video modules represent an introductory perspective for several important topics that relate to the field of aging. This represents the innovative work of Scott Wright, PhD and Jackie Eaton, MS and we are pleased to offer these tutorials in the field of aging. We present the videos via EQUELLA that is integrated with the Blackboard platform at the University of Utah.

The second category - Scholarship - offers several reports, articles, and related materials for open access to the University community and to the general public. This represents our connection to the concept of the Creative Commons and USpace, The University of Utah's Institutional Repository
