Welcome to the Intermountain Healthcare Simulation Learning Center. We are happy to make our collection of simulators, task trainers, models,
posters, equipment and supplies available for learning, practicing and testing patient care skills and arts, as well as clinical judgment.

Dress Code:
The SLC represents a patient care area. The expectation for nursing students, nurses, and faculty is that they will wear a nursing or student uniform, a lab coat or suitable hospital attire. We do not issue lab coats for anyone who has forgotton their uniform. No open toe shoes are allowed.
Food and Drinks may NOT be consumed in the Simulation Learning Center
The equipment is very vulnerable and the center is considered a patient care area.
Policies of the SLC:
- No “real” medication is to be used in the Simulation Learning Center. None of the supplies and equipment in the SLC should be considered sterile or appropriate for actual patient use. Do not practice invasive procedures on each other. Students who use supplies or equipment inappropriately will be considered engaging in unprofessional conduct.
- Use of the defibrillator must be accompanied by a faculty member. Use is determined by each course instructor.
